TERMS & CONDITIONS
BOOKING: To secure a date, a signed bridal contract and €100 booking fee are required. This booking fee is non-refundable and will be put towards the total wedding day balance. The remaining balance will be due on or before the day of the event. Accepted forms of payment for the booking fee include: online bank transfer and all major credit cards.
BRIDAL TRIALS: Trials are exclusive to brides only and are not offered to bridal party/family members.
TRAVEL FEES: Travel fees apply for all bridal parties. They start at €50 for up to an hour from Knocknacarra and are charged at €50/hr. Please notify us of any location changes as soon as possible as this may alter the original quote.
LIABILITY: All brushes, tools, and makeup products are sanitised between every makeup application. Any allergies and / or skin conditions should be reported by the client to the MUA prior to application. Client(s) agrees to release the makeup artist from SDMU from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.
PAYMENT: The final balance is due on or before the day of the event before the MUA departs. Payment can be made via online bank transfer, debit card, credit card, Revolut or cash.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
What happens if one of the SDMU MUA’s is ill and cannot do the makeup for my wedding? If one of the SDMU MUA’s are ill and cannot provide makeup services for your wedding, we have other MUA’s in the team who are available. Due to the fact there are 5 of us in the team there should be someone to cover (subject to availability). If another MUA is not available to cover your wedding, we will of course refund your booking fee and provide you with names of other MUA’s outside of SDMU.
What if I want to postpone my wedding? If you wish to postpone your wedding and the original SDMU MUA that you have booked is available on that alternative date, your booking fee will simply be transferred to the new date. No other action will be required. Provisional new dates cannot be held for longer than a week.
What if the SDMU MUA I have booked for my wedding is not available on the new date?
If the SDMU MUA you have booked is not available on your new date, we will provide you with team members who are available and will honour the price you were quoted. If you choose not to go with one of the SDMU MUA’s we cannot refund your booking fee as this is seen as a cancellation.
What happens if I choose to cancel my wedding?
If you choose to cancel your wedding, your booking fee will not be refunded.
PHOTOGRAPHY: Photos or videos may be taken for promotional use and advertising purposes online and printed material. Full credit will be given to any professional photos and videos taken by photographers and videographers. If you wish to opt out of this, please type ‘NO’ on your Booking Form.
CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES: It is the Client’s responsibility to provide a safe and adequate working environment for the MUA. The location must include:
Natural lighting
Power outlet
Table / Bench / window sill for makeup and brushes
